Dressing for a crossing

Waders let you walk a river or deep puddle before driving it to check depth and the bottom – a basic step for water crossings. Gloves protect your hands when handling rope, shackles and the winch. A membrane jacket and trousers keep out water and mud, and a Nikwax proofer restores water repellency after washing. Choose a helmet for the discipline – a car rally helmet differs from one for an ATV or UTV. Popular sections: Finntrail Waders and Waterproofs, Off-Road Boots and Car Helmets.
