Cable Ties, Wraps and Repair Tapes

Black nylon cable ties in packs of 100 – 2.5×100, 2.5×200, 3.6×300 and 4.8×400 mm – plus tie-down straps: Reese straps in 182 cm and 4 m, a three-point 50 mm car transporter strap and ARB straps for the Base Rack.

Cable ties in a 4x4

Ties keep wiring tidy when fitting lights, a CB radio or a second battery, and on the trail they make quick repairs – holding a loose guard, hose or mud flap. Black ties resist UV better than white ones, so they last longer under the bonnet and outside the vehicle. Width relates to strength – for heavier parts choose 4.8 mm. Near moving parts leave some slack so the loom does not chafe. Load-securing straps are under Ratchet and Tie-Down Straps.
