Lift Kits

Complete suspension lift kits from 1.5 to 6 inches: Rough Country (including kits with alloy steel control arms and N3 shocks, and 1.75" leveling kits), BDS Suspension (with NX2 or FOX shocks or coilovers), Superior Engineering (including monotube IFP and Non-KDSS versions), Icon for the Toyota Tacoma, TeraFlex Sport ST1 and ST3, Bilstein B8 6112 and 8100, and Clayton. Kits are matched to a specific model, year and vehicle version.

Suspension lift, leveling kit or body lift

A suspension lift raises the vehicle by replacing springs and shocks. It increases clearance under the axles and makes room for bigger tyres. A leveling kit raises only the front to remove the factory rake. A body lift raises the body relative to the frame. It makes room for bigger tyres but does not add clearance under the axles. Body lifts are in Body lifts.

Matching a kit to your vehicle

Kit names include variants you need to check: engine (such as 4CYL), stabiliser system (KDSS or non-KDSS), hub size, knuckle material and year. A bigger lift usually needs extra parts: adjustable control arms and track bar, longer brake hoses and corrected drive shaft angles. After fitting, a wheel alignment is essential, along with speedometer calibration if you change tyre size. Control arms are in Control arms, and shocks in Shocks.
