Where a lance makes a difference

After muddy trails, and in winter on salted roads, dirt collects inside chassis rails, in wheel arches, behind skid plates and in suspension recesses, where it accelerates corrosion for years. A long lance goes inside the chassis through the factory access holes, while a shorter one is easier to handle around wheels and under bumpers. Do not aim a strong jet directly at hub and joint seals or electrical connectors. Once washed and dry, treat the inside of the box sections with a cavity wax.
