MetalCloak JL Wrangler 3.5" Game-Changer Long-Arm Four-Link System
A complete long-arm 4-link suspension system designed for Jeep JL. This system delivers maximum control off-road, improved suspension geometry, and on-road comfort. It is a fully bolt-on kit — no welding required, making installation easier and safer without compromising the frame structure.
Key Features & Components
Front long-arm 4-link control arms made of 2.0″ DOM steel tubing with ¼″ wall thickness, equipped with forged threaded ends for superior strength.
Upper front arms made of 1.25″ DOM with 3/16″ wall, bent for optimal clearance during full suspension articulation.
Duroflex™ bushings reinforced with Kevlar®, offering unmatched durability, vibration dampening, and self-centering performance compared to standard rubber bushings.
Bolt-on front mounts – no welding required.
Rear suspension available in two configurations:
DB3 Mid Arm – improves geometry without cutting or removing factory brackets.
Full Rear Long Arm – requires removal of OEM mounts but provides the most stable wheelbase across the full range of articulation.
Heavy-duty replacement crossmember (3/16″ steel), adding frame rigidity and serving as the mounting base for the long arms.
True Dual Rate™ Coil Springs – engineered for both road comfort and off-road performance.
Custom coil isolators – replacing OEM plastic isolators, improving spring stability and reducing coil sway.
Chromoly 4130 adjustable track bar with Durotrak™ bushings for reduced noise, vibration, and improved steering precision.
Adjustable bump stops made of elastomer, settable between 1"–4" without removing the coils.
Multiple shock options:
MetalCloak 6Pak – extreme travel performance.
RockSport – balanced performance tuned for True Dual Rate springs.
Fox shocks – premium external reservoir options for 3.5″–5.5″ lifts.
All steel components finished with gold zinc plating for corrosion resistance and premium looks.
Benefits
Enhanced stability and axle control during extreme suspension articulation.
Eliminates bump steer and maintains proper geometry even with high lifts.
Improved on-road handling thanks to Duroflex and Durotrak bushing technology.
Increased durability and longer lifespan compared to traditional systems.
Bolt-on installation – faster setup without altering frame integrity.
Fully customizable – choose the shock option that best suits your driving style (daily, off-road, or extreme).
Durable corrosion-resistant finish.
Installation Notes
Extended suspension travel may require upgraded driveshafts for proper operation.
Full rear long-arm configuration requires removal of OEM brackets and cutting the frame.
A professional alignment is required after installation.
Powder coating the True Dual Rate springs is not recommended, as it may reduce their lifespan.
