Tie rod end upper driver side Metalcloak | Jeep Wrangler JL

The upper steering rod end from the driver's side MetalCloak | Jeep Wrangler JL is a left-hand threaded rod end designed for the driver's side MetalCloak Jeep JL Wrangler & JT Gladiator Drag Link.

The Drag Link rod ends have factory fit with OE taper pin and locking nut, found in double-adjustable 1-ton forged and heat-treated rod ends, providing additional strength where needed and designed to control directional misalignment to prevent Drag Link flopping. Sealed with durable rubber grease boots, the rod ends can be easily serviced using Zerk fittings.

The Drag Link rod ends are designed with the MetalCloak Anti-Flop feature. The Anti-Flop feature provides a full range of side-to-side movement, ensuring smooth steering when articulating extreme Jeep suspension travel, while a limited range of "front-to-back" movement is built into the rod end, eliminating the possibility of shifting to allow the rod end to "flop."
