How does ROADsight 2500 record?
The camera records at 1080p and 30 FPS. Its 140° field of view captures a wide section of the road ahead, while HDR is designed to help in scenes containing both bright and darker areas. Actual detail captured in a recording will still depend on conditions such as lighting, distance, vehicle speed and weather.
G-Sensor and parking mode
The integrated G-Sensor detects an event and automatically protects the relevant recording. ROADsight 2500 also includes a parking mode capable of recording an event for up to 30 seconds after motion is detected while the vehicle is parked.
Important: OSRAM specifies the corresponding ROADsight Hard Wire Kit 2500 for parking-mode operation. The hardwire kit is not included with the camera and must be obtained separately.
Storage and functions
ROADsight 2500 supports microSD cards up to 128 GB. A memory card is not included. This model does not feature GPS or time-lapse recording and is not supplied as a rear-camera system. The camera has an integrated microphone, while OSRAM also lists a built-in speaker in its product description.
