Inside this extraordinary battery are six spiral cells. Traditional batteries have lead plates submerged in acid. OPTIMA batteries have two plates arranged spirally with a mat holding the acid between the cells. This unique construction allows for increased power and energy, resulting in instant start-up. OPTIMA battery is the first and only battery built in spiral technology.
