Flextail MAX PUMP 3 – a compact pump for camping and travel
Flextail MAX PUMP 3 is a lightweight rechargeable air pump designed for low-pressure outdoor gear such as air beds, sleeping mats, inflatable toys and compatible inflatable boats. It delivers up to 5 kPa and a maximum airflow of 500 L/min while weighing only 122 g. The unit combines inflation, deflation and an integrated LED camping light in one compact device.

Inflation and deflation
MAX PUMP 3 features dedicated inflation and deflation ports. The manufacturer's manual specifies two pressure modes: 5 kPa in High mode and 3.5 kPa in Low mode, with a maximum airflow of 500 L/min.
This is a high-volume, low-pressure pump. FLEXTAIL specifies it for products requiring less than 5 kPa. It should not be treated as a tyre compressor or as a high-pressure pump for finishing the inflation of SUP boards.
Integrated camping light
The integrated LED light delivers up to 300 lm with a specified colour temperature of 4,500 K. The current product page lists three brightness levels and up to 11 hours of lighting. The built-in hanging point also allows the unit to work as a compact campsite light.
A 1/4" threaded adapter can be used to connect the unit to a compatible stand. The stand itself is not included as standard.
Battery and charging
The built-in battery is rated at 7.215 Wh. Rated pump power is 15 W and the USB-C charging input is 5 V / 3 A. The manual specifies up to 25 minutes of pump operation in High mode and up to 60 minutes in Low mode. FLEXTAIL also instructs users not to run the pump continuously for more than 10 minutes at a time.
Water resistance
FLEXTAIL does not specify an IP rating or water-resistance rating for MAX PUMP 3. The unit should therefore not be advertised or treated as waterproof or rainproof.

Can MAX PUMP 3 inflate car tyres?
No. With a maximum pressure of 5 kPa, it is intended for low-pressure inflatables rather than tyres.
