Beam and lighting modes

OSRAM describes the front optical system as a Multi Beam light pattern designed to illuminate the route both further ahead and across a wider area. Maximum specified output is 1,000 lm with a colour temperature of 6,200 K.

Road-use information

OSRAM states that the LEDsBIKE MULTI BEAM X 1000 SET is not approved under the German StVZO and also positions the model for off-road use. No documentation confirming ECE road-light approval for the individual functions was identified in the reviewed manufacturer material.

For use in Poland, road legality depends on the applicable bicycle-equipment requirements, correct installation and the way each light is used. Polish rules require, among other equipment, a white or selective-yellow front position light, a red rear position light and a separate red rear reflector.
