XBB OBD2 KIT – Lighting Control Kit for Tesla Model S / Model X
XBB OBD2 KIT for Tesla Model S and Model X is an advanced system that allows you to connect additional LED lighting quickly and safely without modifying the vehicle’s factory electrical installation. The kit communicates with the vehicle through the OBD2 port and uses wireless Bluetooth communication between modules. This makes the installation of auxiliary driving lights, LED light bars, or work lights simple and eliminates the need to cut wires or use traditional relays.
It is an ideal solution for modern vehicles like Tesla, where installing additional lighting using traditional methods can be difficult due to advanced electronic systems.
How the XBB OBD2 System Works
The kit consists of two components:
XBB Dongle – a module plugged directly into the vehicle’s OBD2 port that reads signals from the CAN bus, such as the high beam activation signal.
XBB PowerUnit – a control module installed in the engine bay or near the auxiliary lights, responsible for powering and controlling the connected lighting.
Both modules communicate wirelessly via Bluetooth, making installation quick and minimizing the amount of wiring required inside the vehicle. The system is configured using a mobile app available for smartphones.
Key Features
- Plug & play installation via the OBD2 port
