New Suspension and Steering System in the JSCAN Creator’s TJ – Full Modernization at Szekla4x4.pl

Recently, we had a very special guest in our workshop — the creator of the popular JSCAN app. His Jeep TJ came to us for a complete suspension and steering system upgrade.
Our goal was clear: achieve maximum performance both on the off-road trail and during everyday driving on asphalt. The result? The TJ now drives like a dream.

MetalCloak Suspension – Long Travel and Full Control

The core of this upgrade was the TJ Long Travel Short Arm Suspension System Lift Kit from MetalCloak.
This complete system provides excellent suspension flex, outstanding durability, and exceptional ride comfort. Thanks to short arms with increased travel and progressive-rate springs, the TJ gained a completely new handling characteristic.

The biggest advantage of this kit is not only the increased ground clearance but also improved handling and stability in rough terrain. The suspension was installed in our workshop with great attention to detail — ensuring the Jeep remains comfortable for everyday driving while being ready for serious off-road adventures.

Heavy-Duty Steering – Precision and Reliability

The second stage of the project involved replacing the stock steering system with the TJ/LJ Wrangler MetalCloak Heavy Duty Steering System, also from MetalCloak.
This heavy-duty steering setup was designed for extreme conditions. We also installed a robust steering stabilizer, which further enhanced stability and steering precision.

This modification not only improves durability in off-road conditions but also delivers much better steering feel and control on paved roads.

Geometry and Precise Adjustment

After completing the suspension and steering installation, we performed a full alignment and precise system adjustment.
This step is crucial — it often determines the final result in terms of both handling performance and component longevity.

With accurate measurements and fine-tuning, the Jeep TJ now drives flawlessly — both on the road and off the beaten path.
